Ja, je leest het goed, de muziek van Gibberish is geld waard. EUR 928,20 om precies te zien. Dat is het bedrag dat op de factuur staan die we op 28 mei van Buma Stemra ontvingen. Omdat we illegaal muziek van de band Gibberish aanbieden. Ja, je leest het nog steeds goed. Onze eigen muziek! En dat terwijl de downloads op het moment 't niet eens doen... Sterker nog: we hebben de band al lang ontbonden. Bovendien zijn we geen van allen lid van Buma Stemra. Dus waar ze precies met dat geld heen zouden willen gaan... Maar 't bloed kruipt natuurlijk waar 't niet gaan kan, dus na kort overleg tussen Mark en mij (Coen) is besloten dat we ons afscheids-concert ook online gaan zetten. Kan iedereen nog een keer lekker nagenieten. Nu maar hopen dat we niet daarvoor ook een rekening krijgen opgestuurd.

After listening to it for a couple of months, we decided to spend some more time on the mix and master. Just to take it a little bit more to the edge. Our producer M'her just finished redoing "Going on". It's way louder and tighter that it was. We can hardly wait to get the rest done. "Door de economische malaise kan geen hond ons meer betalen. Om grote podia van Nederland deze blamage te besparen hebben we een beslissing moeten nemen in het algemeen belang", aldus zanger/gitarist Coen.

Gevraagd worden voor een Amerikaanse compilatie CD met alleen maar Amerikaanse bands die met de Warped tour alle landen aandoen. Er zijn nog enkele exemplaren met bands als Joan Jett & the Blackhearts (I Love Rock 'N Roll), Anti-Flag en 1 kutbandje uit de Achterhoek!
Tijdens het straattheater met de Keidagen in Lochem op een platdak in het centrum staan spelen, terwijl de organisatie onder ons zich afvraagd wie ons heeft gecontracteerd.

Het komende jaar zal ik mij op de trombone richten. Ik loop sinds kort een snuffelstage bij dweilorkest De Pleardöpkes uit Geesteren. Qua contrabassen zie ik wel wat er op mijn pad komt... Ik wil onze fans allebei bedanken voor alle steun en natuurlijk alle organisaties die ons hebben laten spelen. Koos voor het uitwonen van zijn oefenhok de afgelopen 8 jaar.
